Don has invested forty years in a variety of positions in the healthcare industry, most recently as Vice President, Business Development for a publicly traded long term care/assisted living company with facilities in the United States and Canada. Academically, Donald earned a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy and an MA in Cross Cultural Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. Don was forty years old when Jesus Christ entered his life in a spectacular way. Ministry opportunities developed quickly and included a seven year career in music ministry with the group, “Promise”, as well as extensive opportunities to teach and lead Bible Studies and Small Group ministries. Eventually these opportunities culminated in his admission to the Dallas Theological Seminary from which he graduated and soon left to serve with Greater Europe Mission in Spain. Don was appointed by the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association to serve as its Coordinator for the Greater Phoenix Luis Palau Crusade in 1991. Following that effort he became Director of Administration for what is now Phoenix Seminary. God has allowed Don to move regularly between ministry and business, giving both endeavors a richness and practicality that can be missing otherwise. He is often sought as a speaker who brings his faith to his daily business practice. Don and his wife, Marlene, have three children and seven grandchildren. |
