PROJECT P-2-P | PEER-2-PEER
Project P-2-P is an intentional effort to mobilize you as an influencer to introduce people you know to Care for Pastors, inform them of your passion and involvement, and invite them to join you in making a difference. Here are some of the ways you can participate. Take a look, select an option for participation, or get creative and influence in your own way!
HOST A HOME PARTY
Word of mouth is powerful because it is direct peer-to-peer interaction and influence. The people you interact with value your insights and opinions, and they learn from your experiences too. When you tell a family member, a co-worker, a classmate or neighbor about the poor experience you had with a new product you bought, or about the good experience you had volunteering at a local nonprofit, they listen! And more than 80% of the time, they base their future decisions on the information and experience you related to them.
A home party is a great social atmosphere where people can casually gather, catch up with family and friends, make new connections, and enjoy a meal or desserts. In the midst of the gathering, a few moments of directed attention to you, the host, before the meal or desserts are served, provides you a platform to tell others about CfP. Here is a simply plan to follow that is nonthreatening, and easily flows.
INTRODUCE – after you get everyone’s attention and thank them for coming, tell them you’d like to introduce them to a nonprofit entity that means a great deal to you: Care for Pastors. You can elaborate or show the informational 5-minute DVD we provide.
INFORM – let the people know about your passion and involvement with CfP. Letting others know why this ministry is important to you need only take a few sentences, but its impact is large!
INVITE – now that you have introduced people you know to CfP and have informed them of your passion and involvement, invite them to learn more and consider joining you as an Ally to pastoral families.
Then, thank them for listening and direct them toward the meal or desserts. Reengage the conversations and enjoy the rest of the party as you watch God move in the minds and hearts of those in the room. We will help you with more details and encouragement. In fact, it might even be possible to have a CfP Staff member at your party. Tell us you will host a home party and we’ll do all we can to make your home party a major success!I WILL HOST A HOME PARTY!

TELL THE TALE USING SNAIL MAIL
Although many people use email for regular correspondence, traditional letter writing still has a place of influence. By writing a short letter to your family member, co-worker, neighbor, or friend, you can rally support for pastors!
In your brief letter you can introduce them to Care for Pastors, tell them about your passion and involvement, and invite them to join you as an Ally for pastors and their families. In fact, we can provide you with printed materials you can enclose with your letter to enhance their opportunity to learn about this ministry and the possibilities for their involvement.
Simply tell us your plan to write someone you know with the hope of connecting them to Care for Pastors and we will contact you for additional support and resources!I WILL TELL USING SNAIL MAIL
