Everyone Needs a Confidante

As we are almost two weeks into a new month, I want to ask you how you have been doing on being accountable with someone on your personal and spiritual goals? Are you allowing someone to speak truth into your life? We all need that accountability.

If you don’t have someone in your life that you can trust to hold you accountable, please allow us to come alongside you to ask those hard questions. We are here for you and want to be the safest place for you to talk.

Yes, you can talk to God and He will hear and answer. But there are times, we as Pastors’ wives, just need someone with skin to pour our hearts out to who will give us a hug, cry with us, laugh with us, or just give us a pat on the shoulder and assure us everything is going to be okay. We are relational people and we need that hug or someone to pray with us as we are going through things. Yes, God is our strength and our answer, but we also need each other.

Please allow someone to be that safe place in your life. If we could be that place, please email me at rodetta@careforpastors.org or call 352-728-8179.

She strives to share blogs with other pastors’ wives that will help them in their ministry walk.
