Today Is a Gift From God

Lord, I receive the gift of today with gladness. I want to treat it with great care. On the surface I am concerned with stuff, but I must be focused on the multiple opportunities of ministry that are wrapped up in today. To say nothing of the unexpected opportunities that will surface unexpectedly out of the day.

I don’t want to miss one bit of all that is wrapped up in today. I know my days are numbered, and they will quickly come and go. So I choose to allow no diversions to prevent me from squeezing every drop of opportunity out of this gift. No excuses; the hows of today are in my Father’s hand.

So I choose to leave the “hows” to you Lord and choose to be one of the “whos.” I trust you for the wisdom to be the “who” you want today!
